The end of the school year is fast approaching and for some of you school is already out. My kids still have 5 1/2 days of school left, but who’s counting?Here’s a quick and easy Apple of My Eye Pencil Holder made with the Jinger Adams Sweet Tart Scrapbooking Kit.
I keep hoard a variety of cans handy to use for quick projects just like this one. Recycled cans are really great little packages to hold all sorts of treats and goodies too.
To make this simple teachers gift, I covered a can with cute Sweet Tart paper, wrapped Hemptique natural cord around it and added a Buttons Galore & More button in the middle.
Easy as Apple Pie! Actually, I’ve never made an apple pie so I can’t really say if it’s easy or not.

To complete my teachers gift, I glued one of the coordinating glitter tags that come along with the Sweet Tart Kit onto a dowel and stuck it inside of the can. See why I keep empty cans handy?
