Valentine Candy Box Wraps
These Valentine Candy Box Wraps are a creative way to turn a simple box of candy in to a unique and thoughtful gift just by wrapping the box with paper tape and adding pretty flowers on top.
Supplies Used to make Valentine Candy Box Wraps:
Et Cetera Paper Cherry Wood and Birch Wood Adhesive Paper
Et Cetera Wood Adhesive Tape
Red Buttons
Sizzix Big Shot
Flower Die
Dimensional Foam Dots
To make a candy box wrap, cut a piece of wood paper tape the size of a candy box then wrap the tape around box and adhere.
After the Valentine candy boxes were wrapped with wood tape, I used a Sizzix Big Shot and a tattered flower die to cut paper flowers out the various sheets of wood paper.
To make the flowers dimensional, adhere different layers together using 3D foam squares then embellish the flowers with a white gel pen and add a red button in the center.
Are’t these wood flowers just so pretty? These flowers could be added on to gift bags, cards, banners and picture frames. The possibilities really are endless!
I hope these Valentine Candy Box Wraps inspire you to take a simple gift idea and make it special for someone. Gift giving can totally be all about the presentation. No one really has to know the box of candy cost less than two dollars either.
