Think Pink Breast Cancer Card

October 1, 2012 by Holly Gagnon 23 Comments

  Our challenge this week at Fantabulous Cricut is called “Get ‘Em Squished” which means we want to see a project using the color Pink to support National Breast Awareness Cancer Month.
Think Pink Card to support breast cancer made with Cricut{this post contains affliate links}

Think Pink Card

The inspiration for this card came from my good friend Laura who actually IS a Breast Cancer Survivor-Whoot Whoot!  She beat it and she got to keep her Ta-Ta’s too!  Don’t worry, I can write that because I know it’ll make her laugh.  Right, Sunshine?

On the front of the card, I glittered a pink ribbon cut from the Cricut Cindy Loo cartridge and embellished the card with torn paper, pearls, twine and a button.

The envelope is cut Plantin Schoolbook and lined with coordinating paper ’cause every pretty card should have a matching envelope, right?

Think Pink Card

For the inside of the card, I cut layered letters from the Birthday Cakes cartridge and used a heart punch as an embellishment.

So let’s see you support National Breast Cancer Awareness Month by linking up your Pink project at FCCB.

    Hi Holly – this card is fabulous and love the matching envelope. Can I ask – what paper/cardstock do you use for making your envelopes? Thanks
