Princess Birthday Card Book

November 7, 2011 by Holly Gagnon 14 Comments

Thanks to the ladies at Fantabulous Cricut for featuring me this week on Spotlight Sunday and also having me as there guest designer!  The challenge this week is to create a project with a book or something related to a book.     Since it was my daughter’s 5th birthday last Friday, I made her a Birthday Card Book.  I’m actually not sure if  I should call it a book card or mini album but basically, it’s a 3 page keepsake that has her birthday picture on one page and signatures of the guest’s on the next page.  I guess it’s a group card? Anyways, it’s a fun reminder of her special day.

I used the crown from Cricut Sweet Treats as the base of the book cut at 6 inches.   On the cover, I welded my daughter’s name Reese from Opposites Attract using my Gypsy.  Then just added gems, ribbons and buttons for some fun and sparkly embellishments.

Here’s the Birthday Girl.   I still can’t believe she’s 5!

The guest signed there names on the next page.  How cute are the signatures of her little friends? Adorbs!

Thanks for looking and thanks to Fantabulous Cricut for having me as a guest designer!
