Santa Claus Door Banner

December 9, 2011 by Holly Gagnon 34 Comments

I just love Christmas music, I’m one of those people that could listen to it all year round.   I decided to create a hanging Santa Claus Door banner that reminds me of the classic Christmas Song:

Ho, ho, ho! Who wouldn’t go?
Ho, ho, ho! Who wouldn’t go?
Up on the housetop, click, click, click
Down thru the chimney with good Saint Nick
Santa Claus Door Banner

Here’s how I made Ol’ Saint Nick on my Cricut Gypsy:

Paper Doll Dress Up- Santa head  & hat cut at 15.94″.
Elegant Edges- Banner base cut at 6.02″.
Gypsy Wanderings- Banner base layer cut at 4.65″.
Alphalicious- Ho Ho Ho font cut at 3.35″.

Santa Claus Banner

I choose to attach the banner together with a large black grosgrain ribbon and used white glitter paper for the layers and hat to add a little sparkle.

Santa Claus Banner

I stamped sentiments of various sayings you may hear Santa say.

Thanks for looking & Merry Christmas!

So cute Holly! What a festive decoration. 🙂 I listen to Christmas music year-round too, either I’m playing it on the stereo or my kids are singing it. 🙂
