Valentine XO Letters
These Valentine XO Letters are easy to make and a fun way to add some sparkle in to your Valentine’s Decor.
To make the foam letters, I used my Silhouette CAMEO to cut an X out of paper to use as a template to trace on to the foam cube. Since I wasn’t about to recreate the wheel and make my own O, I used a FloraCraft 10″ Wreath ring. Also, since the wreath was wider than the foam cube, I cut two X’s out of the cube to make the letters the same width.
After the X’s were cut, I adhered them together using SytroGlue.
Then painted each foam letter with a thick layer of DecoArt chalky finish paint in the color Escape.
While the paint was still wet, I sprinkled Diamond Dust all over the foam letters. Make sure your paint is really wet or the glitter won’t adhere securely.
I think they really did turn out so pretty! Plus, I love how the letters are painted in a non-traditional Valentine’s color too, the color really makes them pop!
