Teddy Bear Hugs Card

October 12, 2011 by Holly Gagnon 19 Comments

Welcome to the Cooking with Cricut challenge this week!  We want to see a project made with your Cricut that includes  a Cake, Cupcake or Teddy Bear.   I choose to create a adorable  Teddy Bear Hugs Card which would be perfect to make for a little girl’s birthday or for the arrival of a baby girl.

Teddy Bear Hugs Card made with Cricut Doodlecharms

{this post contains affliate links referencing products used}
To make the Teddy Bear Hugs card, I  cut the bear using my Cricut and the Doodlecharms cartridge . I added some texture embossing in the middle  and scalloped punched edge of the card.  I thought the stamped  sentiment “I could just squeeze you”  was fitting for this card.  Of course, when I make a cards they gotta have a cute coordinating lined envelope  to match it too.  I made the envelope with the Cricut Plantin cartridge.

    Welcome to the CWC Design Team, Holly! I love, love, love this sweet card. The embossing on the bear’s tummy is perfect. I love too that you lined your envelope with some of the same paper from the card. I am thrilled that you are joining our crew and can’t wait to see what you “cook” up next.

    Hugs!

    Holly, This is just the sweetest little bear I have seen. Tghe embossing is precious on its tummy. The colors are perfect and the envelope that you made to go with it is great.
