Pretty Girl Canvas Frame

May 15, 2013 by Holly Gagnon 8 Comments

So excited to finally be able to share this C.U.T.E project I made for Jinger Adams using her new Sweet Tart Scrapbooking Kit. Jinger launched her Sweet Tart Collection and All-Occasion Card Kit on HSN a few weeks ago.  Ok, I’ll admit,  it is pretty neat seeing projects you’ve made on TV.  All the projects created by the design team were amazing too.This Sweet Tart Collection  is so fun and just screams Summertime!  This Scrapbooking Kit contains 72 sheets of 12×12 paper along with glitter chipboard words and coordinating tags.

Pretty Girl Canvas made with Scrapbooking Paper

{this post contains affliate links}

This 8×8 canvas frame was one of the projects I sent off to HSN to launch Jinger’s Collections.

To make this frame, I painted the edges of a 8 x 8 canvas yellow, stitched a few pieces of Sweet Tarts paper together using a zig zag stitch then Mod Podged the paper onto the canvas.

Since this frame was going to be on TV, I wasn’t able to add photo but the 4×4 sized mat is intended for an Instagram photo.  I’ve totally jumped on the Instagram bandwagon recently since I’ve upgraded my phone.  {Fun!}

Fussy Cut a Pretty Butterfly to Canvas

Embossed Butterfly with Button center

The embossed butterfly is fussy cut from another piece of paper in the collection and I added a Button Galore and More button to the center and wrapped the frame with blue and white twine ’cause everything looks better wrapped in twine.

Pretty Girl Chipboard
This “Pretty Girl” chipboard die cut is just one of the unique glittered chipboard cuts that are included in the Sweet Tart Scrapbooking Kit.  They really do provide a simple ‘lil sparkle on your project.
