The Joy of Christmas Layout

February 1, 2012 by Holly Gagnon 14 Comments

 Look- it’s a Christmas layout already scrapped-Yeah!
Well, it’s actually from 2010…I’m really, really behind with all my scrapbooking. I used to be a scrapbooker, I’m still one at heart though. I just haven’t scrapbooked much since I’ve become obsessed with card making and Cricut projects over the last two years.
Since being on TPV design team, I’ve been so impressed by the talent these ladies have and there amazing layouts that they’ve inspired to do a little scrapbooking again.

The Joy of Christmas Layout

This week at The Paper Variety were doing a Sketch Challenge. Now I have to admit, this is also my FIRST sketch challenge ever!

Yep-  for some reason, I’ve always stayed away from following a sketch, just like to my do my own thing, I guess. It’s not like you have to follow the sketch exactly though, just your interpretation.

So, here are my kiddos the night before Christmas after their bath, wearing there Christmas pajamas and waiting for Santa to come.   Such Joy!

The paper is a Christmas Stack from DCWV. The ornament is cut from Christmas Cheer and the sentiment font is from Birthday Cakes.  Yes, I own 3 Cricut Cake cartridges but do not own a Cricut Cake machine…go figure, I’m just a cartridge hoarder.

If you play along with  TPV sketch challenge this week you could have the chance to win this awesome kit from:
Who doesn’t love to win pretty paper, die-cuts, stickers and alphas?

Super cute layout, Holly! I also, have almost quit doing scrapbooking because I am so caught up in cardmaking. You inspire me to pull out those scrapbooks and get busy! Very Nice job!

Awesome LO! You think you’re behind on scrapbooking you should see my pile of unfinished projects and undocumented pics/events. But after seeing your LO it makes me want to get in there and do something! Thanks for the inspiration. BTW great sketch!
