Paper Lace Heart Box

February 9, 2012 by Holly Gagnon 16 Comments

I found this paper mache heart box at Target in the dollar bin and I could just hear it calling my name. “Please, alter me with some Ribbons and Glue”….pardon the pun….lol.  So I did alter this box into a Paper Lace Heart Box.
Paper mache heart box altered with paper lace

Don’t you just love this paper lace?   Suzanne, a fellow design team member of mine at The Paper Variety , posted a tutorial on how to make this faux paper lace.

Check Suzy’s tutorial out HERE!

To alter this box, I cut a 4″ heart from Gypsy Wanderings and adhered paper lace behind the heart and on the rim of the box.
I then added a cute gingham button tied with twine and a stamped sentiment banner “With Love“.
Thanks for looking!
