June 27, 2016 at 11:49 amI love your chain! I saw the original pinterest post and her was black. Did you use gray spray paint?

June 29, 2016 at 8:05 pmHi, thanks for vising Linda I actually used an insulation pipe tubing to make these faux chain, since it’s already grey, no spray paint needed! Holly 🙂

October 17, 2016 at 6:20 pmI love this! It was so easy to make & took nearly no time. I recommend using 3/4in or 1in (I used 1in) foam pipe insulation. I learned the hard way when I used 1/2in…inner diameter isn’t large enough to connect 3 links together. If you buy the kind w/o adhesive, the slit lengthwise on the stick is not cut through only scored. Thus not having to “open” every link, just every other link. I hot glued the openings in the links together, this goes quickly when you get your rhythm going. So far it’s all holding up great!

October 17, 2016 at 8:20 pmThanks so much for the comment and reminding me to update my post about using the one inch pipe. That’s the size I’ve always used. So glad it worked out for you, thanks for sharing! Holly 🙂

October 18, 2017 at 10:18 amHi, I love this idea and want to use it for work decor but I dont know how much to get. For every foot of tubing how much chain did you get out if it?

October 18, 2017 at 12:45 pmHow fun! The tubing is pretty long but I’m guess when you cut it up maybe it makes about 4 feet of chain? Not 100% tho. Good luck! Holly
