My craft table is full of scratch paper, post-it notes and and ugly spiral notebooks. I finally decided to get that paper clutter under control and start being a lil’ more organized {fingers crossed} by creating a DIY Burlap Notebook for myself using the Pebbles Inc. Home + Made collection.
DIY Burlap Notebook

Most often the things I make are for other people. This notebook would make a great gift for a friend, but not this time. This notebook is for me and only me to keep my blog notes {top secret ideas of course} and inspiration.
To make this DIY Notebook, I recovered a Plain Jane composition book with burlap paper and embellishments all found in Pebbles Inc Home + Made collection.
After measuring the Burlap Paper, I used a We R Memory Keepers corner chomper punch to round the corners to make a perfect fit.
To cover up the edges of the burlap paper, I adhered white ribbon and Home + Made decorative tape along the notebook sides.
The inside of the notebook is also covered with patterned paper and embellished with a Glitter Kraft bag, Home + Made accent stickers, glitter gold decorative tape and a Journaling card found in the 6×6 paper pad.
The cover of the notebook is embellished with twine, Gold Thickers and Home + Made Stickers. Lala-Love my DIY Burlap Notebook and I look forward to filling it up with notes and creative ideas. Now I just need the time to create all these ideas….

This is so cute. I love using We R Memory Keepers products!
What kind of adhesive did you use for the burlap? I am making an art journal and wanted to use burlap with card board on the back. This is really cute!
