DIY Metal Clip Makeover

Since my kiddos still have 5 days of school  left yet until we can enjoy the lazy days of Summer, I’m sharing with you a quick {last minute} Teacher’s Gift  idea they gave there teachers this year.I’ve learned teachers can never have enough school supplies.  Sometimes the simplest school supply is a coveted item.   So, to show my kids teachers appreciation for all there hard work,  I turned an ordinary office supply into cute metal clips by using  Pebbles Garden Party collection.

DIY Metal Clip Makeover

I’m not exaggerating when I say last minute teacher gift idea.  I’ve learned a long time ago that I’m the queen of procrastination and some of my best ideas always come to me at the last minute.   Like cover black metal clips with cute scrapbooking paper and toss them in a pretty bag…done!

DIY Metal Clip Makeover
I picked up a couple of packages or metal clips from the Dollar Store, measured and cut the paper then adhered the paper on to the clips.  I found hot glue works the best to securely keep the paper on the clip since this item will be used frequently.
Thank You Bags

I tossed the metal clips into clear bags and topped them off with coordinating patterned paper, stickers and cardstock shapes all found in the Pebbles Garden Party collection.
