Mustache Photo Tray...

I'm up on the Echo Park Paper Blog today being introduced as a new team member, sharing with you some creative info about myself and an altered project, this Mustache Photo Tray that I made using the Echo Park Times & Seasons 2 kit.

Mustache Photo Tray

I originally bought this serving tray with plans to decoupage silly photos of my kiddos on the bottom of it and use the tray to hold TV remotes.  Well, not sure how it happened but the tray turned into a mixed media, altered piece that sure ain't gonna be used to hold my TV remotes 'cause I sent it to my Mom for Christmas.

I painted the serving tray with DecoArt Acrylic and Metallics paints then embellished the tray with Echo Parks Times & Seasons 2 kit.

Denim Flower using Tim Holtz Tattered Flower Die

Other embellishments added on to the tray, are a denim flower cut from a Tim Holtz tattered flower die, burlap,  pearls and Maya Road stick pins.

This pic of my kids totally makes me laugh and when I saw the mustache element sticker in the Time & Seasons 2 kit, I knew it would be the perfect pun for this tray.
