Well, I busted out the duct tape idea again for another project.
This time, I wrapped duct tape around a magnet/dry erase board. My sister just recently bought a house and I wanted to make something cool for my nephew's new room. He's 6 so I thought a magnetic message board would be totally cool for a 1st grader's bedroom.
I wrapped the 14 x 14 board with duct tape and used Graphically Speaking and Batman cartridges to cut out the black and red vinyl lettering.

I used Mod Podge to adhere paper on to the back of glass beads, let them dry and then used E6000 adhesive to adhere strong magnets on to the back of the beads. Such a simple idea which has now inspired many more magnet ideas!

Using duct tape was a super easy way to enhance the edges of the board.
What's a magnetic board with out magnets?

Just love them magnets-so fun. Now I have to make some boards for my kids...they loved this idea!
