You've heard Duct Tape is a fix for almost everything, right?
Well, I recently found some cute Hello Kitty duct tape at Hobby Lobby and I didn't know what I would do with it but I knew I could do something with it. If anything, I could put some tape on the inside of my van door to remind the kiddo's that the door lock is broken, right?
Anyways, Rosie from Scrap Lovin Mini's put up a Hello Kitty challenge on her blog for her daughter's 19th birthday and I knew then, that I had found a "fix" for my duct tape idea.

Hello Kitty Duct Tape Journal
So cute-huh? I adhered the tape to the cover of a composition book, added a ribbon flower on the front and cut Ruth's name from Cricut Birthday Cakes.
I love this idea, I wonder what else I can cover with Duct Tape?
Thanks for looking and Happy 19th Birthday Ruth!

So stinkin adorable! My 4 year old (Holly too!) would be having a fit if she saw this! I love how you casually say, " I adhered the tape to the cover of a composition book" I have worked with duct tape and it seems to have a mind of it's own sometimes and you executed it flawlessly! Again, just in love with your stuff!
ReplyDeleteThat's so cute, I like the way you lined it all to match. Thanks for sharing, God bless you and yours.

I just love this - my granddaughter would love this! Did you tape all around the front cover to get that smooth look on the ends? So when you open it up you have the tape on both the outside and inside cover? Thanks!

So cute! Did it take a long time to line up the tape so well?
ReplyDeleteToo cute! As a Hello Kitty lover, I HAD to click over from Tip Junkie, and I'm so glad I did, I've had this duct tape for ages, but haven't been sure what to do it with it... now I know it doesn't even look like duct tap when on a flat surface =D
ReplyDeleteThis is so cute, & creative! Love Hello Kitty! Would love for you to share with my readers at my linky party! http://stringtownhome.blogspot.com. I'm following, now, & can't wait to read more!
