Re-using my Scraps...

I was cleaning my craft area and I found this star scrap that caught my eye.  Ok....my version of cleaning my craft area is basically just  putting things in piles,  I have a lot of piles....Bleek!

Anyways, the star is the negative cut from a star that I used on another project.  It should of been thrown away after the original cut but it wasn't, just ended up in a pile.

I'm so glad I kept it now (Thank you hoarding problem!) since my Thursday Tutorial post today at Fantabulous Cricut features some clever ideas from Marcia at One Scrap at a Time on debossing.

You can check out my post and Marcia's tutorial at FCCB-HERE!

Here's how I used up some scraps:

Kraft Paper
K & Co- Handmade Paper Pack ( love this pack!)
George and Basic Shapes- Star cut at 4 1/2 inches using negative part.
Core'dination's paper (another piece of scrap laying around)- debossed and sanded
Button, twine and pearls

How cool does that star looked debossed?   It totally looks like a seashell to me-Love it!
Thanks for looking!
