The Best Kisses are Chocolate....

Welcome to the Link Up Love "Valentines" Party at Getting Cricky.   Today I'm linking up a little bowl of chocolate serendipity!   Yes, I intended this project to be something else but by happy accident it turned into this. The Best Kisses are Chocolate, right?

Chocolate Kiss Bowl

Chocolate Kiss Bowl

I was attempting to make the small ice cream cone/cupcake on Sweet Tooth Boxes and for some reason my cuts were off and the whole project wouldn't fit together. (Well, Duh..they need to be the same size to fit so- Duh again!) Let's face it though, the directions on that cartridge are not the easiest to follow.

Anyways, I ho-hummed about my mistake, was irritated that I wasted good double-sided card stock, kept starring at it and finally my mistake turned into a candy bowl.  I'm totally in love with this happy accident!  Just wait until you see what I turned the other part of the cupcake into.. Yippee!

I stamped the sign and each Hershey Kiss using various K. Andrew Designs sentiment sets:
Food for Thought -"Squeeze, Love, Sweet"
Winter Wishes-"Kiss, Cute, Best, Kisses"
Coffee & Tea Tag-Along- "Chocolate, Yum!, HOT"

I saw this stamp idea on Pinterest and just had to do it! The small circle is cut at .75 inches. I  used my Cricut to cut the circles because I don't have a punch that small and used Kristals' stamps since they were the perfect size to stamp on the circle.

We look forward to you linking up with Getting Cricky  -HERE.  Remember to follow the rules of the Link Up Love Party since the LULP is a fun way to get to know each other and find new blog inspiration

  11. 100% adorable & YUMMY! I'm having a Valentine/dessert party and I am certainly going to do something like this. Thanks for the inspiring and really funny blurb about how you did it. I also have had endless trouble with that cartridge and think Cricut owes us a new one that is correct on sizing!

  21. Don't you just love those happy accidents! This one sure came out great. Yes, that cart is a little tricky, and the first time I used it, I was very close to lighting the book on fire and smashing the cart with a hammer. Once you look at thought and figure it out..you do feel like duh!!! Oh well, Im blonde so I have an excuse ;). Love the patterned paper and colors on this. Thanks for joining us over at Whimsical Wednesdays.

  36. This is so cute! Thanks so much for sharing. But...is it my eyes getting older, or is the main font on the page very hard to read? On my computer, the lines of text are overlapping and it drives my eyes crazy. Don't know if that's really the way it is, or if that's the way it comes through on my computer.
